Booktrack, Synchronized Soundtracks for E-Books

Over the years, the way people consume media has evolved tremendously and e-books are just one example of this evolution. A while back, Amazon announced that their digital e-book sales outnumbered their hardcover and paperback sales. This announcement documented the turning point in the way people read books today. Booktrack hopes to take advantage of the e-book trend and essentially change the way people read e-books.

Booktrack is a tool that carefully synchronizes music and soundtracks to e-books so that music plays while you are reading. It sounds simple enough, yet from my knowledge, Booktrack is the first company to combine the two mediums. I think this is an interesting idea, but I assume it will be difficult to find the right matches for individual users. Nonetheless, this is a great starting point for a potential new e-book trend.
