Does Windows 8 Have Disappointing Usability?

A great deal of reports and user reviews have been coming out about Windows 8 and the new Surface Tablets. We thought this one from the usability grandfather, Jakob Nielson, was particularly well done and UX focused. Some problems Nielson had with Windows 8 include hidden features, low information density and reduced power using. While many new operating systems have experience issues and bugs at the beginning it is good to see Microsoft taking a step towards improving the mobile experience.
