Oxford Tech + UX  provided strategy, requirements, and user experience consulting on two internal Intranets at Hearst to streamline operational workflow, increase global knowledge-sharing and improve global operational efficiency. These intranets helped facilitate this for 20+ global magazine properties with hundreds of editions and local editorial teams.

Both the Intranets were designed to help with asset, file and knowledge-sharing across Hearst’s dozens of international brands and country-specific brand versions. Prior to this project, there was no global repository for a brand’s assets, content and media, or a way to easily share and repurpose stories and research digital rights. Each global team needed to be able to search, browse and also collaborate and contribute to the repositories. These Wiki intranets enabled more internal communications and operational efficiencies.
