Oxford Tech + UX worked repeatedly with the boutique eCommerce agency ECommercePartners and their client Sabon, a fast-growing handmade soap and personal bath products manufacturer and direct retailer. Sabon is famed for its in-store experience and high-quality products; the goal was to create an equally as compelling digital experience to serve Sabon’s many loyal customers and attract new audiences. Oxford Tech + UX provided full-spectrum user experience and traditional competitive analysis and requirements for the new Sabon.com website, in partnership with ECommercePartners. The Sabon site overhaul took the Sabon ecommerce site from very limited ecommerce capabilities and a confusing, visually dense site toward a sophisticated, beautiful ecommerce presence that could support custom gift baskets and recommendations, custom sample selections, complex user rewards and purchase tracking, visual search, and a much more compelling overall browse and buy experience. The net result was a huge uptick in sales! Separately, Oxford Tech + UX also provided content strategy, taxonomy and specialized writing and editing for the launch of the new ECommercePartners.com website.
