UX + Data Meet Up 2015 at SXSW
UX + Data Meet Up returned to SXSW Interactive week on March 15th and was a great success thanks to all who attended. Beverly May, executive director of the UX Awards, hosted the meet up where UX practitioners gathered for an hour of sexy data, insightful UX, and socialization.
The annual UX + Data Meetup is an opportunity for all types of User Experience data manipulation, analytics and data visualization pros to get together for an informal, relaxing meet -and- greet. Like-minded practitioners, designers, developers, researchers, product leads, recruiters, companies and startups both seeking and providing UX and data analytics services gathered in a low-key setting focused on networking. It’s a meeting of the minds where all UX and data fanatics are welcomed.

Beverly has over 17 years’ experience in digital and is a UX & Data senior practitioner and community leader. She is the founder of Oxford Tech + UX, a data-driven UX & strategy agency; President of NYCCHI, NYC’s largest and oldest UX group; and Executive Director of the International User Experience Awards. Beverly’s focus is Data-Driven UX: UX that drives substantial business impact through exceptional strategic, analytical foundations. Beverly founded her own music production company in Toronto, Canada at age 20 while also becoming a web designer-developer. Since then, Beverly has helped conceive, prototype, upgrade or launch over 100 digital products and services at incubators, digital agencies, startups, software companies, media companies and the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations, before starting Oxford Tech + UX in 2008. Beverly has an MBA from Oxford University, an MS in systems design from NYU, and a BA from University of Toronto. She is a triple US, CDN & UK citizen.
